Is there parking available at the Kirk House? There is an off street parking space for each guest room. Many of our guests leave their cars parked in our parking lot and walk to town for shopping and dining.
Can I drop my bags off if I arrive before the 3:00 pm check-in time? Yes, with prior notice you are welcome to drop your things off with us, and we will provide a safe place to store them until your room is ready for you to check in. We can also hold your bags on check-out day until you are ready to leave the island.
Do you have bicycle racks or secure bicycle storage available? Yes, we have bike racks for our guests as well as a secure storage area for the bicycles.
Are you within walking distance from the ferry landing? We are only five blocks, or less than ½ mile, from the ferry.
Can we rent bicycles or kayaks from you? We do not have bicycles or kayaks for rent but you can rent a bicycle by contacting Island Bicycles at 360-378-4941 - www.islandbicycles.com or Discovery Kayaks at 360-378-2559 - www.discoveryseakayak.com Kayaks can be rented from several places on the island. Please go to our links page to find the right one for you.
Do you have gift certificates available? We do have gift certificates available in any denomination. Please refer to the "Gift Certificate" tab to complete your request.
Are there hair dryers in the rooms? Each room is equipped with a hair dryer.
Is there an iron and ironing board available for us to use during our stay? We do have an iron and ironing board on site. Just ask us and we will make it available to you.
Does the Kirk House have a water view? We do not have a water view (nor the traffic or noise when the ferry comes in) but are a short walk from the harbor.
What credit cards do you take? We take Visa and Master Card. We also take checks and cash.
Do you have a hot tub on the property? We do not have a hot tub.
Do you have wireless internet access? We are equipped with wireless internet access. You should be able to start up your computer and it will find the signal.
I'm traveling with friends. Is there a common area where we can visit? Our guests can socialize in the lovely parlor, on the veranda or in one of the garden areas.
