There are a number of ways to get to the island:

By automobile and passenger ferries from Anacortes, WA and Sidney, British Columbia on the Washington State Ferry;
Reservations on the Ferries for vehicles to and from Anacortes are now accepted at "Save A Spot".
By scheduled air service;
On the Victoria Clipper (seasonal);
By charter plane;
Or by private plane or boat.

Island Airporter which runs once a day from SeaTac to Friday Harbor
Airporter Shuttle which runs several times a day from SeaTac and downtown Seattle to the Ferry terminal at Anacortes.
